Insiders say the Supreme People’s Assembly on March 22 revised North Korea’s constitution to require an immediate nuclear response if the command-and-control of the state’s nuclear forces is threatened. The updated provision reportedly states: "If the command-and-control system over the state's nuclear forces is placed in danger by hostile forces' attacks ... a nuclear strike shall be launched automatically and immediately."
