Meghan and Prince Harry, 41, marked the day with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 4, blowing out candles on a lemon and elderflower cake — the same flavor profile as their wedding cake. Harry surprised Meghan with a bronze sculpture of two penguins, a nod to the traditional eighth-anniversary bronze symbol and to a remembered engagement-party onesie theme. Meghan recalled, "We were penguins... Because we’re together for life."
Meghan also shared a handwritten card from her British Airways flight crew dated May 18 and marked “BA 269,” filled with signatures and well wishes. A source said the crew brought a bottle of champagne and British candies, and Meghan was deeply touched and wanted to publicly thank them.
