The Leader: Alan Osmond

Alan, the eldest, left performing decades ago after a multiple sclerosis diagnosis. He devoted himself to philanthropy, helped start the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon and the One Heart Foundation, married Suzanne in 1974 and raised eight sons. Alan died on April 20 at 76; Donny praised his steady leadership and sacrifices.

Wayne’s Health Struggles

Wayne battled a brain tumor in 1997 that cost him much of his hearing and suffered a stroke in 2012 that ended his guitar playing. He had five children with wife Kathlyn. Wayne died after another stroke in January 2025, a loss his brothers marked with public tributes.
